I am a PhD Student in Economic History with a focus on financial markets in the 19th century. I hold Master’s degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of Vienna. I currently work at the University of Vienna and LGT.
My research examines the Reichsbank and its branch network, analysing its role as both a financial institution and an instrument of nation-building. Additionally, I am working with Kilian Rieder on a paper about the Panic of 1873. For more updates, see here.
